Which workstation do you need?

Raw materials → Distillation Bench → reagents → Chemistry Bench → usable concoction.

The Distillation Bench processes eligible raw items. Its output is a reagent, not automatically a usable potion. The Chemistry Bench combines named reagents in measured doses.

Acid Coating and Restorative Tincture each take 15 seconds to mix. Quantities are reagent doses, not counts of raw animals, mushrooms or scrap. Do not substitute six raw items for six doses without checking their yield.

For example, Alien Distillation can come from Raw Pest, but that same item can also be food. A Mushroom Peccary Skull can be distilled or saved for a Mushroom Farm. Reserve construction and meal supplies before processing the rest.

If you produce an Unstable Flask

An unintended Unstable Flask is not the desired concoction under a different name. Stop and check the reagent identities, individual doses and recipe before spending another batch; a failed combination can cause a small explosion.

Keep the recipe arrangement unchanged while checking reagent names and doses. Use the Chemistry Bench troubleshooting section to work through an unexpected result.

Switching to a different concoction

When changing products, use the new product’s recipe. Different concoctions require their own reagent types and doses.
